Insect Hotel (2015)

beech wood, glass

Product Design - Year 1

The bug house is a wooden sculpture in a glass. It attracts the bugs and can be used by them as a temporary  hideout. The glass is used as a reservoir to put in a bait or as a  transparent container for studying.

To make it an interesting table accessory it has an organic and unpredictable shape. Bugs can crawl freely over folds, alleys and dents on the surface. They can penetrate through certain holes and enter the hollow sculpture.
